French Melange - blend of filter coffee and espresso.
As is typical of the French coffee tradition, this blend of Arabica beans and a small amount of espresso is made from one part espresso beans (roasted particularly dark) and one part lightly roasted beans. The long roasting of the espresso beans gives the strong taste a wonderful caramel note. The French melange is delicious as a latte. Recommended preparation method: French press (coarse grind); filter: medium grind.
