Intense aromas of blackberries, cassis and cranberries unfold on the nose, accompanied by fine chocolate, sweet spices and a hint of vanilla.
On the palate, fine tannins provide a velvety-soft mouthfeel. Notes of blackberries, aniseed and nutmeg as well as a mineral undertone make the taste experience particularly complex.
The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Cabernet Franc (30%) and Malbec (20%) matured for 22 months in new barriques and impresses with its intense structure and elegance.
Whether with spicy dishes or dark meat - the De Toren Book XVII is a culinary highlight that also offers true moments of pleasure on its own.
