Dievole
The prestigious winery "Dievole" in the Chianti Classico area has a history of over 900 years. It is first mentioned on May 22, 1090, when 2 friends of the monastery's head Abbate Rolando leased the land for the cultivation of grapes, paying annually 3 loaves of bread, 1 capon and 6 silver coins.
Today Dievole is one of the most famous producers in the Chianti Classico area. But the winery stands for much more than the exceptional wines it produces. Because for Dievole, the focus is always on the people who make it possible: the workers. Many of them were born in the area or in the winery itself and feel a deep connection to the land and the wine that matures on it.
