Distillerie De Paris Agave: "La Grande Passion"

"La Grande Passion" may be a bad pun, but it has a true core: the dedication in the production of this agave brandy can be felt in every drop. Nomen est omen, Sebastien and Nicolas Julhès used agave nectar (also known as "aguamiel") from the Blue Weber agave, which they sourced directly from Mexico, as the base product. Long fermentations in the cellars of Distillerie De Paris gave the nectar a deep complexity. During distillation, the Julhès brothers elicited freshness and minerality from the raw material in order to emphasize the identity of the agave. Mezcal and tequila are usually dominated by earthy and smoky aromas. This spirit, on the other hand, surprises with its fruity, floral finesse and a hint of salty notes. The exceptional character invites pure enjoyment, but is also suitable for spicing up classic cocktails such as a margarita or a paloma.

The self-defined "very first legal distillery in Paris" is a source of inspiration, creativity and ingenuity - embodied by Sebastien and Nicolas Julhès. With a mixture of know-how, cleverly selected raw materials and a touch of intuition, the brothers distil spirits of exceptional quality in their small but fine distillery: from gins and whiskies to rums, maple and agave brandies. We have brought two of these fantastic distillates to Austria - a token of love, and not just for our Francophile customers.
