Domaine Muré in Rouffach, south of Colmar, has been an established winery since 1650 and has been run by siblings Véronique and Thomas for many years, naturally biodynamically and Demeter and Biodyvin certified! This top Pinot Noir impresses with its elegant and subtle style and yet shows power and dynamism.
The Pinot Noir -V- is located in the immediate vicinity of a Grand Cru site for white wines in Rouffach - the Vorbourg site!
Aromas of wild berries and bright red fruits such as raspberries and morello cherries dance on the nose, but the first ripe aromas of forest floor and mushrooms are also paired with light chocolate and a hint of white pepper and a little vanilla - simply racy!
The palate reveals ripe, fine-grained tannins that are skillfully integrated. A fine acidity provides freshness and enlivens the fruity aromas. A wine that impresses with its complexity and can be drunk now, but can also be stored for 5 to 10 years without worry.
