The Dornier Cocoa Hill Ruby Red 2022 is a harmonious cuvée of Merlot (35%), Shiraz (32%), Cabernet Sauvignon (19%), Petit Verdot (7%) and Malbec (7%), which thrive on the weathered granite soils of Cocoa Hill, a hill in Stellenbosch Mountain - hence the name of the red wine.
"The bouquet of the wine seduces with aromas of black and red fruits, pepper and light spicy notes.
On the palate, the Dornier Cocoa Hill Ruby Red is tasty and well-balanced, with concentrated fruit flavors, fresh acidity and fine tannins that lead to a long-lasting finish.
The red wine matured twelve months in French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and complexity.
The Dornier Cocoa Hill RubyRed goes perfectly with dark meat or spicy food.
