The Dornier Malbec impressively demonstrates that this grape variety can not only shine in classic red wine cuvées. The grapes come from the estate's highest vineyard. On Dornier, the thick-skinned grape with green pulp unfolds its entirely unique potential and produces a full-bodied, juicy red wine with aromas of dark berries, plums and a hint of violets, as is typical of Malbec.
On the palate, the wine is rich in texture with notes of juicy berries and dark chocolate. The long finish is characterized by a balanced acidity and fine tannins.
The Dornier Malbec matured for 24 months in French oak and is an ideal accompaniment to grilled beef or lamb, but also excellent with exotic dishes such as thai duck from the oven or chicken.
