De Krans Broederskap Red Blend 2018 - Red wine

The De Krans Broederskap Red Blend flows into the glass in a dark plum hue and already reveals its complexity in the bouquet. The scent of dark fruits is skillfully underpinned by spicy notes. Dark fruit notes are also present on the palate, and well-structured tannins lend a lovely mouthfeel to this full-bodied red cuvée made from Touriga Nacional (68%), Tinta Roritz (28%), Tinta Barocca (2%) and Tinta Amarella (2%) grape varieties. The De Krans Broederskap Red Blend aged for twelve months in French oak and has great development potential. Therefore, the red wine is already a pleasure purely, but it also goes wonderfully with dishes with dark meat, game or spicy. The climate in Calitzdorp, with warmer temperatures during the day and cooler temperatures at night, offers the Portuguese grape varieties ideal conditions to produce excellent wines at a high level.
