The Ernie Els Proprietor's Blend sparkles in the glass in a beautiful shade of red. Intense aromas of dark chocolate and black pepper unfold on the nose, surrounded by black cherries, plums and cassis. On the palate, the red wine also shows its fruity side with notes of red and dark cherries. Soft tannins give the finely structured Ernie Els Proprietor's Blend a silky mouthfeel before it finishes with a spicy finish. The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Shiraz (20%), Merlot (5%), Malbec (5%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%) matured for eighteen months in French oak and is a highlight in a glass of red wine in its own right. However, spicy dishes with game or dark meat are just as recommendable with the Ernie Els Proprietor's Blend.
