The Fairview Stok by Paaltjie Grenache Noir presents itself in the glass in a bright, light red and seduces with an expressive bouquet. The nose is dominated by aromas of red fruits, berries and cherries, which are complemented by a hint of fynbos.
"On the palate, the wine is fresh and youthful, with juicy red fruit aromas that are accompanied by a fine layer of spicy nuances on the finish. Despite its accessible character, this Grenache Noir displays an impressive complexity, which is enhanced by the unique vineyard site interspersed with native fynbos. Incidentally, the terraced Stok-by-Paaltjie vineyards also gave the red wine its name.
Enjoy the Fairview Stok by Paaltjie Grenache Noir on its own, or slightly chilled on warmer days. The wine is an excellent accompaniment to Mediterranean tapas, Asian dishes or grilled lamb chops. Spicy dishes and Spanish classics such as paella are also delicious combinations.
