How is Tannenliebe lemonade made?
Tannenliebe L emonade is made with wild-picked fir tips and organic fir honey from the Black Forest. Fir tips never taste the same - a different location of the fir tree or a different harvest time will affect the taste of the tips and therefore the flavor of the lemonade. In addition, harvesting the young fir tips is not easy. Each fir tip is picked by hand in the Black Forest, which is time-consuming and labor-intensive.
The second ingredient in Tannenliebe lemonade is fir honey. This comes from the Upper Kinzig Valley near Alpirsbach and is extracted from the honeydew of silver firs. The aphids attached to the fir trees transform the plant sap into honeydew, which in turn is processed by the bees into a spicy, malty honey. A unique taste experience!

Fir love
Tannenliebe is a refreshing drink with heart. A lot of love and handwork goes into it. Luca and Louisa collect the young fir shoots, often together with friends, in the Black Forest area around Freiburg. The fir tips are boiled together with sugar and honey to make a sweet molasses. The final step to a refreshing drink takes place at the Rogg family brewery in Lenzkirch (Black Forest). There, Tannenliebe is blended and bottled. Anyone who then opens a bottle can smell and taste the Black Forest.
