Ginsanity

We, that is Michael and Dagmar Frangenberg, are and always have been curious, cosmopolitan people with a great desire for pleasure. Through our "actual" jobs, we got many opportunities to taste gins around the world in recent years. An insane variety of tastes, which has made a lasting impression on us!

And yet we noticed one thing again and again: With tonic, many types of gin are delicious. Without tonic, very few are.
But who likes to drink something that has to be mixed before it tastes good?

We don't. And the decision was made. We wanted to try it ourselves. With heart and soul and a lot of passion. To distill a gin that is a real taste experience even neat. "You guys are crazy!" was the reaction of our friends. So finding the name for our gin was quite easy: GINSANITY!

But that was just the beginning...

We distill our gin in the west of Cologne, in the Braunsfeld district! There we have set up our distillery in an atmospheric industrial loft. Here we distill all our gins and also bottle them ourselves. New recipes are created here and our tastings also take place here. A small distillery store invites you to go gin shopping! And at the latest now you know that "handcrafted" stands for really everything with us.

We distill in a 100 liter copper still. This was developed and built by a traditional still family business according to our ideas. In one run we distill about 120 bottles. The macerate for this we prepare and put on site. Everything you buy from us, we have developed ourselves, tested for a long time and then at some point finally felt good enough to share it with the world, with you!
