Mature fruity and subtly sweet rum from a single barrel aged for 19 years from the former Diamond Distillery in Guyana, which is now part of Demerera Distilleries Limited. The rum of this MD brand was distilled in February 2002 on one of the last wooden column stills in the world.
In order to let our customers share in the unique quality of this rum, it was bottled at cask strength. Pleasant barrel ripeness aromas combine with gentle spiciness and the aroma of zest. Soft, aromatic finish of medium length. Individual reduction with a little water in a chilled glass allows the fruity flavors to stand out even more - experiment and compare for yourself!
