Heinr. von Have Finest Jamaica Rum with wooden gift box

The Heinr. von Have winery and spirits manufactory was founded in 1868 and is today the oldest and only family-run historic winery and spirits manufactory in Hamburg with a functioning cellar. As was customary for many wineries in the north, the company turned to spirits distillation in the 20th century to complete its range of products for the regional gastronomy. For over 100 years, the spirits manufactory has been processing and producing fine distillates in small batches according to old family recipes. These are still produced by hand in the traditional way, flavored and bottled individually. More than half of the classic spirits have been awarded top honors by the International Spirits Competition.

Rum, especially as a rum blend, has been an important part of the range ever since the company began producing its own spirits. First as black rum and since the 1930s as baby rum with the typical Art Nouveau label of dancing babies. Since 2009, after many decades of rum blending, it has been matured to perfection as our own composition of various Jamaica raw rums in our over 60-year-old barrels.

Aroma: Sherry notes, dark caramel, maple syrup, prunes, cocoa.
Taste: Soft, aromatic, hints of chocolate, orange peel & mature oak.
