More information about Jacoba Six Chardonnay 2021
The Jacoba Six Chardonnay impresses with its beautiful golden yellow color and its elegance will wrap every fan of the grape variety around its finger. Wonderful notes of tropical fruits and lemons are accompanied by floral and mineral tones as well as light oak nuances, while the creamy texture, which the white wine owes to its eleven months of ageing in French oak, caresses the palate. The Jacoba Six Chardonnay is therefore a delight on its own, but the exclusive white wine is also an excellent accompaniment to dishes with chicken, grilled salmon or a delicious salad. The full-bodied white wine is part of the Jacoba Six collection, which is reminiscent of the roots of the South African wine tradition, as Jacoba Six was the wife of Simon van der Stel, who founded viticulture in the Cape as governor. The wines in this line also pay homage to the fascinating nature and culture of the country.
