More information about Kanonkop Paul Sauer 2019
The Kanonkop Paul Sauer inspires every year anew the wine critics and convinces also in this vintage again with its classic elegance. In a rich ruby red, the cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (75%), Cabernet Franc (14%) and Merlot (11%) shines in the glass and impresses already in the bouquet with its complexity. Earthy and spicy tones are underpinned by cedar as well as beautiful notes of dark and red fruits. The clever use of new oak, in which the red wine was aged for 24 months, gives the Kanonkop Paul Sauer a good tannic structure. Be sure to enjoy this refined red wine, which resonates for a long time, once pure, but it is also a wonderful accompaniment to steaks, lamb or savory dishes. A selection with aged cheese is also a very good choice to Kanonkop Paul Sauer.
