More information about Coffee Kenya pearl bean
The pearl bean is without doubt a very special form of coffee bean.
At the end of each branch, the coffee cherry no longer has the strength to develop two coffee beans and so only one bean forms in the coffee cherry. As it lacks a counterpart, it clings together and the pearl shape is formed. The pearl bean is particularly strong as it can use the pulp for itself during growth. Harvesting is considerably more complex, which also makes the price of the pearl bean somewhat expensive.
The pearl bean has a strong and spicy fullness, with a slightly chocolaty note. The coffee is very strong, but never bitter in taste.
