The BRLO brewery has dedicated a beer to Berlin's most feudal street that is just as fancy as its namesake Ku'damm - a fine barrel-aged imperial stout with a very special aroma: The noble touch is provided by the maturation in Muscatel barrels The wine, made from the world-famous Muscatel grapes, is known for its fruity sweetness and floral character Connoisseurs extract notes of jasmine, orange blossom and honeysuckle from the wine The barrels in which this special wine matures were used to refine the popular raisin bomber and give the beer full-bodied notes of strong wine and ripe, heavy grapes

By the way, BRLO is the old Slavic name for Berlin and can only be pronounced without mistakes after a few beers. A Franconian, a Berliner and a Mecklenburger founded the Berlin beer brand BRLO in 2014. Two of them, Katharina Kurz and Christian Laase, already know each other from their studies. Diplom Braumeister Michael Lembke is the third in the group, who shared the dream and has been the mastermind of BRLO beers since the beginning.
