The Lanzerac Commemorative Pinotage is a tribute to the legendary vintage of 1959, when the first Pinotage from Lanzerac was presented. Decades later, the new edition shows some of the same remarkable characteristics as the original: The Lanzerac Commemorative Pintoage seduces with aromas of red and black berries, subtle hints of tea leaves as well as an earthy note. The finish is characterized by soft, silky tannins.
Enjoy this exceptional red wine, which has matured for 18 months in French oak, with spicy dishes with dark meat. But the Lanzerac Commemorative Pinotage, whose grapes come from a single vineyard planted in 1953, is also delicious on its own.
