On the palate, the full-bodied red wine scores with its balanced tannin structure, its fruity notes and a long-lasting finish. Enjoy the Lanzerac Merlot, aged for twelve months in French oak, best with hearty dishes. Veal chops with mushrooms and gnocchi in a pepper sauce or a creamy risotto with Parmesan, for example, are highly recommended with Lanzerac Merlot.
