The L'Avenir Provenance Stellenbosch Classic 2020 is a Cape blend full of character made from Pinotage (33%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%), Cabernet Franc (29%) and Merlot (6%) - grown on the renowned slopes of Stellenbosch.
"The grapes were harvested by hand, each grape variety processed separately and the wine then matured for 10 to 14 months in French oak. The result is a harmonious red wine with depth and elegance.
The bouquet delights with aromas of blackberries, plums and cherries, accompanied by subtle earthy tones and a hint of sweet spices. On the palate, the wine has fine tannins, juicy red fruit and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and balanced.
An ideal accompaniment to grilled meat, lamb or mature cheese - powerful yet smooth in expression.
