More information about Liebl Bavarian Dry Gin Limited Bottling
Liebls Bavarian Dry Gin is distilled according to an old family recipe exclusively from the best botanicals in limited edition.
We obtain the various botanicals without exception from the best growing regions. Liebls Bavarian Dry Gin is particularly captivating due to its balanced juniper and citrus notes. The lemons as well as the Moro blood oranges come from particularly fertile growing areas on the slopes of the volcano Etna in Sicily and are grown strictly organically according to Demeter quality.
The various botanicals and fruits are weighed according to our recipe and put into alcohol. In addition to extra fine neutral alcohol, this alcohol mixture also consists of Coillmór barley malt distillate.
Since the aroma and quality of each fruit depends seasonally on the climate and precipitation, the herbs and juniper berries are mashed and distilled separately from the fruits. The gin distillate becomes soft, round and smooth. Water plays a special role in the production of any distilled spirit.
Here, the Bavarian Forest provides us with one of the best resources: particularly soft mountain spring water of the highest quality. This distinguishes the special mildness of our gin.

Liebl specialties distillery
Tradition, nature, time and the urge for something very special. According to this principle, top-class liquid diamonds have been created for many years at the Liebl specialty distillery in Bad Kötzting in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. Having emerged from a small grocery store and started in the spirits sector with the production of the Bavarian Forest classics Bärwurz and Blutwurz, our company has developed into one of the leading spirits producers in Germany in recent years. The basis for the high quality standards is, in addition to the many years of experience of master distiller and fine spirits sommelier Gerhard Liebl, the optimal interaction between traditional distilling art and innovative fermentation technology.
