More information about Maisel & Friends Artbeer #4 "Elle"
Even though beer was long considered the most banal of alcoholic beverages and it was widely believed that there was no great art behind brewing, today we know better: numerous craft brewers and tradition-conscious breweries create sophisticated beers that require a great deal of craftsmanship, brewing skills and expertise to produce. Brewing is art, and what better way to express this than to pour the skillfully produced beer into an artistically designed bottle?
The brewers at Maisel & Friends are not only fans of the art of brewing but also have a soft spot for street art. In their Artbeer series, they combine these two passions into a project that is both visually and culinary inspiring.
The series is now in its 4th edition: Maisel & Friends Artbeer #4 is called ELLE and was designed with the Brooklyn-based artist of the same name. Before ELLE attracted the attention of the international art scene, she decorated the walls of her city with impressive paintings in illegal night-and-fog campaigns.
Her work is a colorful mix of surrealism and the collages of the cubists, and the beer behind the art is a Juicy IPA. Five different hop varieties are responsible for the juicy notes of orange, mango, peach, lychee, citrus fruit and apricot.

Maisel's mission Jeff is not only a passionate brewer, in addition to brewing outstanding beers, he also wants to be a trailblazer for the craft beer movement in Germany.
