Fans of the Maisel & Friends brewery will be eagerly awaiting Hopfenreiter 2020, but we would like to introduce this exceptional creation to everyone else: Hopfenreiter is a collaboration brew that is now in its fifth edition.
To brew this very special beer, Maisel & Friends invites a hand-picked selection of the world's best craft brewers year after year. With combined forces and everyone's favorite hops, magic is then created.
This year's result is a captivating Double IPA that seals the extraordinary friendship between six craft breweries. Included are Poppels Bryggeri, Sierra Nevada, Steamworks, Yankee & Kraut, Hanscraft & Co. and of course Maisel & Friends. The top-class team of exceptional international brewers not only has specialist knowledge, a love of experimentation and a passion for brewing, but also a very special hop variety in each case. Sierra Nevada Brewing & Co. contributes Azacca, Ariana comes from Yankee & Kraut, Steamworks Brewing Co. brings Hallertauer Blanc into play, Poppels swears by Olicana, Hanscraft & Co. has opted for Hüll Melon and the hosts throw Denali into the kettle.
