The Momotaro Gin is a tribute to the Japanese legend of Momotaro's: a young brave man who was born to a childless couple from a peach and who, together with his three animal companions, travels the world and protects it from monsters.
For Momotaro Gin, hand-picked botanicals such as nashi pear,yuzu lemon mikan tangerine and jasmine tea are distilled in the best craft manner.
During production, particular emphasis is placed on a particularly slow and gentle maceration and distillation to give the selected botanicals the time they really need to develop their full flavor. Taste-wise, Momotaro Gin Kizaru convinces with an elegant note of nashi pear,yuzu lemon mikan tangerine and jasmine tea.
A fruity fresh pleasure trip to the Far East, which knows how to convince especially in a gin and tonic, or even in fancy cocktail creations.

Distillery Kaltenthaler
Our distillery is located in the middle of Rheinhessen - in the traditional Westhofen. Founded over 30 years ago, today Felix Georg Kaltenthaler, 3rd generation distiller, leads the fortunes of the distillery. In addition to own brands such as Kernstein, Revolte Rum and Momotaro Spirits, the focus of the distillery Kaltenthaler is primarily on handcrafted spirits, as well as project development in the field of contract production. Our distiller Felix Georg Kaltenthaler learned to love his craft in his youth on his parents' vineyard. As a result, his first own brandies were produced well before his 18th birthday. Today, already in the 3rd generation, the family business of the Kaltenthaler distillery successfully stands for "innovation through living tradition". The multiple awards of the distillery Kaltenthaler with the state honorary award underline the quality of our work.
