More information about N|D Mountain Dry Gin
N | D Mountain Dry Gin is a unique blend of eleven botanicals. In addition to classic gin botanicals, we use birch leaves picked in late spring when they are young, sticky and fresh. Mountain angelica, which grows throughout northern Sweden and has been used in traditional Sami medicine for thousands of years. To create the fusion of extremes, we combine this with Timut pepper from the Himalayan mountains.
During distillation, classic gin botanicals are first carefully macerated for a period of time. While some of the botanicals enter the still after maceration, some botanicals are added fresh to our gin infusion box, allowing only steam to pass through to ensure we get only the subtle notes we are looking for. The result is a wonderfully smooth gin with a distinctive crisp finish that makes for a refreshing G & T.
