More information about Muffin Myrtille
The idea for Muffin Myrtille is based on an old Welsh proverb: Stop trying to make everyone happy, you're not a blueberry muffin
We're not sure whether this wisdom is actually old or Welsh, but at its core it's true Hardly anything can make a large number of people as happy as an oven-fresh, still steaming blueberry muffin with a fluffy, sweet batter and a whole load of deep blue fruit Until now, because the blueberry muffin from Les Intenables is not a pastry at all, but will almost certainly make you happy nonetheless
The full-bodied Blueberry Pastry Sour brings a whopping 7.2% alcohol content to the glass and is presented in an incredibly intense blueberry hue The deep purple beer is topped with a dense pink head that takes blueberry enjoyment to the next level: A strong aroma of freshly picked blueberries rises to the nose and makes the first sip inevitable The first sip reveals a velvety-soft body that caresses the palate with notes of blueberry muffins and still-warm blueberry jam A hint of lactose gives the beer a fruity acidity that goes wonderfully with the summery sweetness of the wild berries
Muffin Myrtille tastes best with a freshly baked blueberry muffin If necessary, blueberry pancakes or simply two cans of the delicious sour beer will work too
