More information about Grizzly Bear
Although bears are occasionally spotted in our latitudes, it is assumed that these animals have lost their way or are just passing through. Bears have not been part of the native fauna for a long time. The situation is different in other parts of Europe: Bears still exist in Slovenia and Croatia as well as in France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Scandinavia. While the most common species in Europe is the brown bear, Canada and the United States are home to its subspecies, the grizzly bear.
A whole horde of grizzlies was recently spotted in Munich, but these cheerful fellows were not of the furry, salmon-loving variety. The Munich bears are the brainchild of the Munich Brew Mafia and are not massive wild animals, but handsome bock beers. The Bavarian mafiosi have enriched their local beer landscape with an American-style wheat bock: all the hop varieties for this majestic brew come from the home of the grizzly.
The honey-golden beer is crowned with a firm crown of airy foam and, in addition to this impressive appearance, has a strong 6.9% alcohol content in the glass. The flavor profile of the bear is made up of spicy yeast, creamy banana, ripe apricot, fresh citrus notes and sunny grain.
