More information about Muratie Ansela van de Caab 2020
The rich and velvety Muratie Ansela van de Caab impresses with its rich, shiny red color. Thanks to its four grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (59%), Merlot (27%), Cabernet Franc (9%) and Petit Verdot (5%), this red wine not only has great diversity, but also a perfect balance. Concentrated blackcurrants are surrounded by a light herbal note and oak nuances and balanced by a fresh acidity and a long-lasting finish. The wine takes its name from a strong woman who was born a slave and then fell in love with Lauren's camphor at a young age. Years later, she was released from captivity and had a fulfilling life with her family on Muratie. A strong woman symbolizes a wine with a strong character, which should therefore definitely be tasted on its own. However, it also pairs well with hearty dishes such as dark meat.
