The light scent of fynbos and strawberries rises to the nose when connoisseurs have the Muratie Mr. May Grenache Noir in their glass. On the palate, the fruity notes of pomegranate and raspberries are accompanied by earthy tones. A pinch of white pepper and a hint of oak perfectly round off the aromas of the red wine, which has matured for eighteen months in French oak. Whether with grilled meat or aromatic spiced vegetables - the Muratie Mr. May Grenache Noir is always the right choice. Like all Muratie wines, there is a story behind this red wine: Cornelius - affectionately known as Mr. May - planted and pruned many vines on Muratie and impressed with his incredible knowledge of weather conditions. For example, he knew that it would rain two days later if there was a silver cloud on the south-west side of the Simonsberg.
