The grapes used for the Muratie Ronnie Melck Syrah Family Reserve come from a very old single vineyard planted in 1977. They deliver a limited red wine that impresses with concentrated fruit aromas - notes of blackberries, blackcurrants or cherries are particularly noticeable on the palate, while undertones of black olives and pepper as well as smoky nuances provide a spicy component. Fine tannins and a long finish round off the enjoyment of the Muratie Ronnie Melck Syrah Family Reserve. The red wine has matured for sixteen months in French oak and is a highlight in the wine glass in itself. Dishes with dark meat, game or savory dishes are also highly recommended with the Muratie Ronnie Melck Syrah Family Reserve.
