The Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Caracal Magnum is a wine with a deep ruby red color and a distinctive aromatic profile on the nose. Notes of black plum and blackcurrant are complemented by subtle tobacco and spice notes, which are created by toasting the oak.
"On the palate, the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Caracal Magnum presents itself as an elegant, yet full-bodied red wine with aromas of blackberry, mulberry and black cherry. The cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (52%), Merlot (24%), Petit Verdot (13%) and Malbec (11%) is excellently structured with firm tannins.
The red wine is an excellent accompaniment to meat dishes such as beef brisket, but it also harmonizes perfectly with cheese and vegetable dishes.
