More information about Neethlingshof Short Story Collection The Jackal's Dance 2021
For the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal's Dance, only the best grapes from a single vineyard in Stellenbosch were used. The Sauvignon Blanc shimmers light yellow in the glass and smells wonderfully of white pear, yellow apples and pineapple. A light herbal note successfully rounds off the bouquet. On the palate, the full-bodied white wine delights with its freshness, great structure and fruity flavor. Especially notes of pear, gooseberry and a hint of passion fruit make themselves felt. This makes the Neethlingshof Short Story Collection Jackal's Dance a pleasure on its own, but the white wine is also a good choice with dishes of grilled vegetables, salad, seafood or a creamy mushroom risotto. Incidentally, the wine is reminiscent of Willem Barend Lubbe. He once gave the estate the name "De Wolvendans" ("Dance of the Wolves"). What he did not know at the time was that the pack that was near the farm were not wolves, but jackals.
