More information about Selection 16/79 Rosé 2021

The Selection 16/79 Rosé enchants already with its wonderful color in delicate salmon pink and its wonderful, floral fragrance. On the palate, the fruity wine delights especially with its beautiful strawberry notes. Creamy, fresh and elegant, the cuvée dominated by Grenache Noir and refined with Cinsault and Syrah is a real treat in itself. However, Selection 16/79 Rosé is also an excellent food companion, seafood dishes are particularly recommended with the rosé. The wine is part of the Selection 16/79, which is a tribute to the South African winemaking tradition. Simon van der Stel, who is considered the founding father of South African wine culture when he became governor of the Cape in 1679, played a significant role in this.
