The Neethlingshof The Owl Post Pinotage Magnum impresses with a dark ruby red color in the glass. Its bouquet unfolds seductive aromas of black plum, raspberries and mulberries, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate and a hint of white pepper and smoky undertones.
On the palate, the complex wine reveals intense, inviting notes of dark plum and cherry, underpinned by nuances of mocha and toasted coconut. The finish is long-lasting, structured and earthy.
The Netthlingshof The Owl Post Pinotage Magnum matured for 20 months in a combination of American, French and Hungarian oak and goes perfectly with game dishes or a curry. Hard cheeses such as Cheddar or Gruyère harmonize just as well as vegetarian dishes. This red wine is also highly recommended with dessert - try it with a chocolate truffle tart.
