North Sea Beach- Rosé
A rosé in a class of its own awaits you! German quality wine from Rheinhessen
Pinot Meunier and Syrah, salmon pressed, fermented in large wooden barrels and aged "Sur Lie". Elegant and complex aroma of pure red berry fruits and spring flowers, in the taste you can expect the finest, deep minerality of limestone and a hint of black currant.
When the Ski Club Kampen makes a Rose, it must be something special - you will be surprised: The surprise starts with the choice of grape variety: Meunier, also called Schwarzriesling in Germany, and Syrah are found in the cuvée Skiclub Kampens latest project. Then there is the aging: not in stainless steel tanks, but quite deliberately in large wooden barrels. In it, the salmon-pink colored drop matures on the yeast until bottling, which, by the way, was already invented in France a long time ago and is called "sûr lie" there. The reason for this unusual preparation is for the restless makers of the ski club Kampen aspired wine style: namely, the production of a very own Rosé type from Germany, which would be most comparable with the fine drops from Provence.

Kampen Ski Club
Pius Regli and Jörg Hinck founded the Kampen Ski Club on Sylt in 1989 in the Sylt restaurant "Manne Pahl" in Kampen over an excellent vodka they distilled themselves. From then on, they competed against each other every year in a ski race in Zermatt, and the winner became club president for the next year. Ulrich Graf, Dortmund entrepreneur and managing director of Skiclub Kampen GmbH, developed the spirits in 2012 and designed the unique bottle for North Sea, the premium brand for gin, vodka and vodka mixed drinks. The standard is high, the specially handcrafted alcohol comes from Germany. The basis for all spirits is vodka, distilled five times and filtered extremely slowly through a silver dust filter.
