More information about Paserene Union 2019
Paserene Union is a complex red wine made from Syrah grapes grown in the Tulbagh region. The red wine flows into the glass in a dark, almost inky black color. The scent of blueberries, violets and roasted aromas rise to the nose. Smoky notes and mineral components are beautifully balanced on the palate with the fruit nuances and give the Paserene Union a warm mouthfeel. Smooth tannins and a restrained acidity make the enjoyment experience perfect. The red wine matured for sixteen months in oak and for a year in the bottle, so it has great potential for further development, but of course the Paserene Union is already a treat for the palate, try it either on its own or with spicy dishes with dark meat, which may come from the grill. The combination with lamb or a curry is particularly recommended. The artistic label shows a girl symbolizing Mother Nature, the swallow is a symbol for the winemaker. In Tulbagh, they have found a common place - the Paserene Union is therefore also a message of union and community and stands for the togetherness of nature and winegrowers.
