With an expressive bouquet of aromatic red berries, mulberries and plums, accompanied by fine notes of cedar wood and a subtle hint of dried herbs, the Plaisir Grand Plaisir will wrap any red wine lover around its finger.
"The noble cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Petit Verdot (20%), Merlot (10%) and Malbec (10%) develops an impressive purity and richness from the very first contact with the palate. Aromas of ripe cherry, blueberry, plum and apricot characterize the taste. The wine is opulent and multi-layered, with a pleasant hint of spicy notes, before it fades into a finish with structured, velvety tannins.
The Plaisir Grand Plaisir matures for 18 months in French oak and is the perfect accompaniment to matured beef, game dishes or loin of lamb with a herb crust. This wine also reveals its full potential with dark chocolate or hearty dishes with rosemary and thyme.
