Pusser's British Navy Rum is a premium rum blend with centuries of history. After the conquest of Jamaica by the English fleet in 1655, the tradition of the daily "tots" of rum was born in the Royal Navy.
This morale-boosting drink, administered by the purser (slang pusser), became an integral part of English seafaring tradition until 1970, when tribute was paid to technological developments and the increased dangers associated with them, and state-ordered drunkenness was bid farewell. Once only available to the British Navy, Pusser's Rum has also been available to "landlubbers" for some time now.
