The Raats Family Cabernet Franc 2021 comes from Stellenbosch and impresses with elegance, depth and character. The grapes come from 20 to 27-year-old vines that thrive on granite soils - ideal conditions for concentrated fruit and fine structure.

The nose reveals lavender, rosemary and thyme, accompanied by spicy notes such as nutmeg, clove and star anise. On the palate, the wine is powerful, balanced and multi-layered, carried by intense blackberry fruit, mineral freshness and polished tannins.
Aged for 18 months in French oak, this Cabernet Franc has excellent structure and ageing potential - without masking the fruit.
An ideal accompaniment to duck, grilled lamb or dark chocolate.
