More information about Rickety Bridge Paulina's Reserve Old Vine Cinsault 2021
The grapes used for Rickety Bridge Paulina's Reserve Old Vine Cinsault come from old vines in Paarl that were planted back in 1954. They produce a red wine that develops wonderfully fruity aromas of cherries and redcurrants on the nose. Undertones of fynbos add complexity. The red wine, which has matured in oak for twelve months, impresses on the palate with intense fruity notes. The Rickety Bridge Paulina's Reserve Old Vine Cinsault is wonderfully balanced and scores with a fine tannin structure. You should therefore definitely try this red wine on its own, but it also goes perfectly with fried tuna or fried dumplings with a spicy sauce.
