The Ron Aldea Tradicion is a rum from Spain from the Canary Islands, which is made from Canarian sugar cane juice. The style is similar to that of a rum agricole. The Aldea Tradicion is a 1-2 year limited bottling. It is aged for at least 22 years in former red wine barrels made from French oak. These produce aromas of dried fruit and chocolate. The taste reveals spicy-sweet oak notes, chocolate and leather. The Ron Aldea Tradicion is bottled at 43.0% vol.

Ron Aldea's traditions go way back and the company is closely linked to the culture of La Palma. At Ron Aldea, all sugar cane is harvested by hand from regional farmers who work sustainably. Very fresh and in the fastest way, the juice, the "guarapo" is extracted from the sugar cane in the mill and the residue, the "bagasse" goes back to the farms as fertilizer. The rum is mostly stored in oak barrels of different origins and undergoes complex blending processes. This results in multi-layered, refined rums of the highest quality.
