More information about Medicinal herbs Artemisia 4pcs tasting package
Medicinal herbs of the artemisia mugwort family for joy, pleasure and well-being. This is ensured by these four herbs in the set.
Thus, seasoning with mugwort makes a lot of joy and fits just as well in the late summer, as in the autumn and winter time. Mugwort varieties look similar and a quick internet search can quickly lead to confusion. That's why we decided to pack four varieties of the artemisia medicinal herb family into one spice box.
This is what is included in the package
1x Organic annual mugwort - 8 g
Annual mugwort is actually also called "the mother of all medicinal herbs". Annual mugwort tastes very bitter. Therefore, when seasoning, start with a knife tip and discreetly refine mushroom dishes, lentils, lamb or pork. In addition, annual mugwort tastes wonderful in tea. If the bitterness is too intense, combine thyme, royal basil, cinnamon bark, marjoram or vanilla. It may be known that annual mugwort cleanses the body.
Taste: herbal, bitter
1x Organic wormwood - 7 g
Wormwood (artemisia absinthium) actually tastes even more bitter than annual mugwort. Accordingly, wormwood is not so popular for seasoning dishes. We recommend using wormwood very discreetly with fatty dishes. Indeed, also rather to meat dishes such as pork or goose. In addition, wormwood can be drunk as a tea, similar to the annual mugwort.
Taste: intense bitter notes
1x Spice Mugwort organic - 6 g
Spicy mugwort (artemisia vulgaris) is really excellent for seasoning fatty dishes. Accordingly, spice mugwort is very popular especially at Christmas time. Spice mugwort also tastes bitter, but much less so than the medicinal herbs annual mugwort and wormwood. In addition, spice mugwort is often used in stuffings because it makes other flavors more prominent.
Taste: herbaceous, bitter
1x Tarragon organic - 11 g
Seasoning with tarragon is an enrichment. The sweet-tart flavors go wonderfully with roasts, sauces, dips or vegetables. The bitter notes are quite subtle, but the tarragon also makes dishes more digestible. Fresh or dried? If it's in season, then by all means use fresh tarragon in the kitchen. Otherwise, dried tarragon can also refine dishes wonderfully.
Taste: sweet-tart
Optionally, you can also order a matching spice rack made of fine beech wood.
