Amaretto liqueur made from the Saxon sour cherry.
Our Amaretto is something very special. The typical almond/marzipan aroma is not obtained from almond aroma or apricot kernels, as is usual with most Amaretto. Instead, we use cherry stones and later also the pure fruit. This ensures a finer, more delicate, almond-toned aroma, paired with fruity cherry flavors. Extremely beguiling for the nose and palate.
Taste: mild alcohol with a subtle almond note, lots of fruit and little sugar. Long-lasting, harmonious fruit on the finish.
Ingredients: fresh Saxon sour cherries
Processing: Without colorants: the liqueur gets its color from the fruit content
Filling quantity: approx. 200 bottles per year
