More information about Organic raw gold of pleasure oil
This very old oil plant, a little forgotten, was already used among the Celts for pressing edible oil. The yellow dots in the flax fields gave the oil its name in the vernacular (Camelina sativa). It tastes very fresh, light and a little like green meadow.
The possibilities of using the oil are many. It is suitable both as a dressing for salads, for making mayonnaise, but also for spreads and pesto. Due to its high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, it is suitable only for cold cooking. It should definitely be stored in the refrigerator to avoid rapid changes in taste.
Like linseed oil, it is rich in alpha-linoleic acid (omega-3 fatty acids) (30-40%) and linoleic acid (omega-6 fatty acids) (14-20%). 100ml contains 17.5g of vitamin E. Due to the complex slow pressing at about 30°C, the ingredients are very well preserved. However, due to the antioxidants, it has a much longer shelf life than linseed oil and is less flavor altering.
The gold of pleasure oil is freshly pressed in the neighboring Leipzig oil mill of Patrice Wolger.

Bei Matthias Rosenberg gibt die Frucht den Ton an. Mit wenig Zucker wird in der Manufaktur regionales Bio-Obst zu Fruchtaufstrichen eingekocht bzw. zu Frucht-Likören verarbeitet.
