More information about Yellow mirabelle organic fruit spread
The yellow mirabelle is a melange of the true yellow sweet mirabelle (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca) and different yellow cherry plums (Prunus cerasifera). These are found in gardens, orchards or wild along roadsides, where I harvest them.
The taste of the fruits varies from sweet to slightly sour. This spread flavored with raw cane sugar is fruity and tart.

Bei Matthias Rosenberg gibt die Frucht den Ton an. Mit wenig Zucker wird in der Manufaktur regionales Bio-Obst zu Fruchtaufstrichen eingekocht bzw. zu Frucht-Likören verarbeitet. Somit bleibt der charakteristische Geschmack jeder Frucht im Glas intensiv erhalten. Das Obst, bis auf die Bitterorange, stammt von Bio-Höfen aus Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen und Brandenburg.
