More information about Yellow Mirabelle organic fruit spread
The yellow mirabelle is a mixture of the true yellow sweet mirabelle (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca) and cherry plums (Prunus cerasifera) of different shades of yellow. These can be found in gardens, orchards or wild on roadsides, where I harvest them.
The fruits vary in taste from sweet to slightly sour. This spread, flavored with raw cane sugar, is fruity and tart.

Bei Matthias Rosenberg gibt die Frucht den Ton an. Mit wenig Zucker wird in der Manufaktur regionales Bio-Obst zu Fruchtaufstrichen eingekocht bzw. zu Frucht-Likören verarbeitet. Somit bleibt der charakteristische Geschmack jeder Frucht im Glas intensiv erhalten. Das Obst, bis auf die Bitterorange, stammt von Bio-Höfen aus Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Thüringen und Brandenburg.
