From the heart of Oaxaca, this exceptional mezcal is distilled in the presence of buffalo meat and a vibrant selection of fruits, including oranges, grapefruits, mandarins, guavas, plantains, sugar cane sticks, pineapples, apples, starfruit and tejocotes. A basket containing these ingredients is suspended above the still, and during distillation the steam rises through the basket, naturally enriching the mezcal with complex aromas.
The result is a distillate with complex aromas of mandarin, grapefruit and ripe banana, supported by a distinctive mineral base and a full-bodied texture.
