The Organic Chocolate Stout from Samuel Smith is a specialty beer that not only impresses with its outstanding organic ingredients but also with its excellent taste.

Both the cocoa beans and the chocolate malt come from purely organic farming. The water is sourced from the brewery's own well, which has been providing wonderfully hard brewing water since 1758. These fine ingredients are used to brew a creamy, smooth stout that is equal parts drinkable and luxurious.

Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout flows into the glass in an opaque mahogany color. The lightly tinted head forms a wonderful contrast to the deep dark beer and at the same time exudes a voluminous aroma of warm cocoa with cream, cinnamon and marshmallows. This fine aroma is accompanied by notes of freshly brewed coffee and strong roasted malt. The first sip reveals a full-bodied beer with a wonderfully velvety mouthfeel and intense aromas. A soft, melt-in-the-mouth chocolate note caresses the palate and is reminiscent of high-quality drinking chocolate. A fine roasted coffee note adds a delicate acidity that perfectly balances the soft sweetness.
