Scholerhof
Scholerhof is a small winery and distillery located in the heart of the Markgräflerland region in Baden. The Markgräflerland stretches over 60 km from Freiburg in the north to Basel in the south and is the southernmost wine-growing region in Germany. The Burgundian Gate is a kind of passage between the Jura and the Vosges. And because that's the case, the odd warmer breeze comes in from the south. In short, the winters are milder and the sun shines more often and longer than elsewhere. All of this together ensures that the grapes here have a higher sugar content. Our family has a long wine-growing history, going back about 100 years. I took over the winery from my uncle 10 years ago and it was clear to me that I would maintain our family's principle: quality over quantity.
