Meerlust Rubicon 2018 - Red wine

In a very dark, almost purple red, the Meerlust Rubicon flows into the glass. The red wine cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (67%), Merlot (19%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (4%) is an icon from the Cape and spoils every red wine lover with its intense spicy aroma as well as aromas of ripe plums, violets, fennel and cedar. A typical licorice note successfully rounds off the bouquet. Full-bodied, well-structured and intense, the red wine presents itself on the palate. Fresh notes of dark fruits and pleasant tannins provide a rich and long-lasting taste experience.
